Newtech Civil

Website for Newtech Civil, a concrete and civil contractor working across the Hunter Valley out of Muswellbrook. Built to show what the company can take on, from formwork and slabs to reinforcement and structural work, and put one phone number in front of anyone who needs it.

Live site · Launched September 2026 · Built with Next.js · Five services, one call

The problem

Newtech Civil had never had a website. The work came by word of mouth and from the same builders and contractors coming back, which says a lot about the work and not much to anybody who hasn’t heard of it. Matt wanted bigger jobs, and clients who had never come across his name. Those are exactly the people who look a contractor up before they ring, and there was nothing for them to find. So the job was a first website that shows what Newtech can take on, for builders, developers, councils and private clients, and makes ringing him the obvious next step.

What I did

The photographs do it. Matt sent through his own pictures of the work, and each service on the site shows a run of the job: the slab boxed up and meshed, the pour, the finished thing. The words are his, tidied for spelling and nothing more, and the site speaks as the company rather than as a person. Ringing is the one action, in the header on a desktop and in a bar that stays put on a phone, with an enquiry form second for anyone who will not ring a mobile from a work desk. The capabilities list is written to read as the usual run of the work, not a fence around it, because the whole point is that he stays open to any job.

The result

The site went live in September 2026, so it is too new for honest numbers. What it does now is put the work in front of the people who buy it, on a phone, with the number one tap away. It sits on the same foundation as every site I build, so when I improve something, Newtech gets it too.

At a glance

  • Ringing is the one action: the number sits in the header on a desktop and in a sticky bar on a phone, with a quieter enquiry form for anyone ordering from a desk
  • Every service shows a run of the job in Matt’s own photographs, so somebody who has never heard of Newtech can see the work before they ring
  • Written in the company’s voice, with a capabilities list that reads as the usual run of the work rather than the limit of it
  • Tap any service and its photographs open full screen, one at a time, with a swipe on a phone, so the work can be looked at properly

If your own site needs the same kind of rebuild, the build options and pricing are on one page.
